High School Engineering Facility

Westmont High School was originally constructed in the early 1960s. This building previously served as the site’s Metal and Wood shops. This project is a Career Technical Education Facilities Program for an Engineering and Design Center. The goal was to create spaces for CAD design, product development and testng and product integraton.

Project Scope

• Project includes three large teaching spaces centered around a design center with an integrated raised fexible foor.

• A welding center, dust collecton system and exterior shade structures were provided to supplement the teaching and design centers.

• The project also included demoliton and replacement of surrounding concrete walks and drives to improve student outdoor spaces.

• The project also included Restroom modernizations, entre mechanical system improvements and roofing replacement throughout.
