JOHS, desired a culinary arts classroom/kitchen (Lab) in their existing SF Mission District, multi-story type II construction facility. In this “surgical project” we found creative ways to carve out space from behind an existing kitchen  to create a new culinary arts program. The design features windows in to the lab so that the culinary teams can be seen
